Summer Camp Counselor positions are available at Lindley G Cook 4-H Camp in Branchville, New Jersey.
Lindley G Cook 4-H camp is a co-ed residential outdoor education center and welcomes campers in grades 3 through 11.
Counselors
live in cabins with campers, facilitate the daily schedule and basic
needs of their campers, and provide daily supervision for recreational
activities.
Counselors will also facilitate classes in their chosen course area.
Counselors
must be 18 or older and have experience working with children.
Experience in one of our four course areas is preferred: outdoor
education, creative arts, lifeguarding, or shooting sports. Willingness
to work in the outdoors as a part of a strong team is a must. Training
in ARC First Aid and CPR will be offered to all staff if needed.
All
meals are provided and counselors are required to reside on camp during
the entire term of employment. Pay starts at $300 per week, with a
$100 starting bonus. Dates of employment are June 16-August 10, 2013.
This includes one week of required training at the start of the summer.
Daily and weekly time off is provided for all counselors, evening and
weekend hours are required.
