Environment New Jersey

Dear Lisa,
I’m writing to ask your quick assistance— Environment New Jersey and our partner groups across the country have entry-level positions available for recent or upcoming college graduates to join our 2-year Fellowship program, so I wanted to see if you knew a graduating senior who may be interested in applying.
They can review the job description here. To apply, just send an email to me, Doug O’Malley, at domalley@environmentnewjersey.org.
I’m hoping you will forward this job announcement to any seniors or recent grads that come to mind—or to faculty or department heads who may be able to share this with graduating seniors in their department. It’s really a great opportunity for a recent grad who can see themselves making a career out of protecting our environment.
Over the two years in our Fellowship position, the staff person will work side-by-side with one of our experienced directors or advocates who will serve as the Fellow’s mentor. They will learn all the important tools of the trade for doing this work—citizen organizing, advocacy, working with the media, building coalitions and more. They’ll hone their skills working on clean water, clean energy and global warming campaigns and projects to preserve special places.
The position is a paid position and includes a package of benefits for the Fellow—you can learn more (or candidates can learn more) by viewing the job description on our website here.
Please don’t hesitate to email me with questions about this or any of Environment New Jersey’s work.
Thanks in advance for helping us find an entry level candidate who may be one of the next great advocates or organizers in the environmental movement—and thanks for your ongoing involvement and support.
Sincerely,
Doug O'Malley
Environment New Jersey Interim Director
P.S. The early application deadline is February 15th. If you know a graduating senior or recent college graduate who might be interested in working to protect the environment, please forward this email to them.
