paid internship with Save the Earth Pledge Initiative

Hello Dr. Rodenburg.

We are in search of interns from the Rutgers Environmental Services Program that we can hire to help us work on the Save the Earth Pledge initiative - www.ste-p.org

We will be looking for help in flushing out key influencers and promote our effort to multiple communities working to solve global warming.  In our experience we recognize there are many good organizations working on global warming issues, but we have not found an independent source of citizen commitment. We are looking for paid interns who can help us build an independent site (www.ste-p.org) that demonstrates citizen interest.

We are looking to work with a student or students over a 3 month period of time to:
·       Help in the research of key influencers and their contact information
·       Design online essay contest and video contest
·       Build a community around the Save the Earth Pledge (ste-p.org) with viral & social communication tools

We are looking for a 15-20 hours per month at a rate of $15/hour. We would like to work with someone who has experience in social media and is committed to saving the environment and earth.

We would appreciate any recommendations for students – or information on how we can let your students know about this opportunity.

With much appreciation,
Jean Steckler & Bill Farrell
