Other students may also attend to learn about future employment possibilities and internships at USDA.

All USDA job opportunities will be posted by March 18 on USAJobs.gov and Rutgers will be the only place in the country that a person may apply in person for these jobs.  This job fair is also open to the public.

The final list of USDA agencies is still growing and includes the Farm Service Agency (FSA), Food and Nutrition Service (FNS,) Animal and Plant Inspection Service (APHIS), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and the National Agricultural Statistics Services (NASS).

Please share this information with your students and recent alums to let them know about this great opportunity.

Jobs at the Presidio (San Francisco)

The Presidio Trust in San Francisco is currently recruiting education interns to work at the Presidio.  These positions are full-time (40 hrs/wk), residential (housing provided) internships, so best for students who are soon to graduate as these internships are set to start mid-June.  If you could pass these along to your students, we would be very grateful!  We have had some of our best interns from professors and academic staff forwarding this on and interns have gone on to work in museums, for the National Park Service, and to graduate school (and more!).

We are recruiting two education interns who will be expected to lead both environmental and cultural/historical educational programming in the form of field trips, after school programs, camps, and family events for youth ranging from pre-K through high school as well as for some adult audiences. The interns will also assist the education staff with the development and implementation of new education programs and outreach initiatives.  Full position description and how to apply here: http://goo.gl/eZ7Wut.

Jules McKnight
