USDA job fair 3/24 9-5 in the IFNH building

Dear Colleagues,

I am very pleased to announce the first USDA Job Fair at the NJ Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health (IFNH) at Rutgers for senior undergraduates, graduate students close to completion, and recent alums interested in the pathways program  (https://www.usajobs.gov/studentsandgrads).

The event will be held at the NJ Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health (IFNH), Room 101, 61 Dudley Rd, New Brunswick, on Cook Campus, on Thursday March 24, 9 am – 5 pm.

No registration is required and more details are available here:

Other students may also attend to learn about future employment possibilities and internships at USDA.

All USDA job opportunities will be posted by March 18 on USAJobs.gov and Rutgers will be the only place in the country that a person may apply in person for these jobs.  This job fair is also open to the public.

The final list of USDA agencies is still growing and includes the Farm Service Agency (FSA), Food and Nutrition Service (FNS,) Animal and Plant Inspection Service (APHIS), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and the National Agricultural Statistics Services (NASS).

Please share this information with your students and recent alums to let them know about this great opportunity.
