For low income/first generation students considering graduate school

McNair Program Seeking Students & Faculty Mentors

Students -

The Rutgers University–New Brunswick Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program is now accepting applications through Friday, December 1, 2017 for Cohort 2018. Since 1991, the program has annually served 30 low-income, first-generation, college students, and/or students from racial or ethnic groups historically underrepresented in graduate education to prepare them for a doctoral education. Students interested in obtaining a doctoral degree upon completion of undergraduate studies are encouraged to apply! The program benefits include, but are not limited to, graduate school application fee waivers, semester book stipends, up to 6 credits toward graduation, funding toward research, conferences, and graduate school tours across the country.
