MIG Consulting LLC is a small environmental engineering company headquarted in Wilmington, DE with an office in Highland Park, NJ.  The NJ office is looking for an intern or part-time employee.  We are interested in students in Geological Sciences, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning & Design and Environmental Policy, Institutions and Behavior.  Much of MIG's work is concerned with remediation of contaminated gas stations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania

 

MIG offers an interested student with the opportunity to work in an active environmental company.  MIG employees are engaged in initial site assessments through the application of technologies to clean up these sites.  Your duties may include:

 

    --Assisting in field investigations including monitoring well installation

    --Groundwater, sediment and soil sampling, including proper sample handling                     and adherence to chain-of-custody protocols

    --Data analysis to identify chemicals-of-concern

    --Report writing including groundwater modeling, risk assessments, ecological                     assessments

    --CAD design
